The Research and Development division of Dragflow Sud S.r.l., active since 2023, is the engine of the company’s technological innovation and a key element of its growth in the blue economy sector. R&D was established with the objective of designing increasingly efficient, sustainable, and adaptable solutions to meet the operational needs of complex marine, coastal, and port environments.
The research team works on the development and improvement of solutions with reduced environmental impact, integrating engineering expertise, field experimentation, and operational environment validation. Particular attention is dedicated to green technologies and solutions for the protection of aquatic ecosystems, such as the Eco Cleaning Boat: a modular electric vessel designed for the collection of floating waste and environmental monitoring.
The division operates in close collaboration with universities, research centers, innovative SMEs, and technology partners, participating in research projects funded at regional, national, and European levels, including programs under PNRR funds. These collaborations enable the company to rapidly transfer innovation from research to product, contributing to the development of advanced technologies for marine protection, sustainable coastal management, and pollution prevention.
