Growth and Development
The history of Dragflow Sud S.r.l. is characterized by constant and sustained growth, thanks to its strong synergy with the company Dragflow S.r.l. and its ability to innovate and adapt to market needs.
The company has invested heavily in research and development, creating practical and versatile solutions that have achieved great success among clients.
– 2012: Company founded with the aim of offering innovative and sustainable solutions for port and beach maintenance.
– 2018: Dragflow Sud, in collaboration with Dragflow, designed and manufactured the DRF model mini-dredges.
– 2023: Launch of the Research and Development department, following the approval of funding for the “Innovative boats for plastic collection at sea” project, co-funded by the Calabria Region and carried out in partnership with the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria. First contacts with foreign clients.
– 2024: Conclusion of contracts for major supplies in Morocco and the Philippines. Consolidation of the Research and Development sector through participation in PNRR cascade funding calls, with two out of two project proposals approved for funding.
– 2025: Supply of innovative drainage systems to be installed at the Camastra Dam (PZ) as a solution to the severe drought problems encountered in 2024 in various areas of Lucania. Launch of the third research and development project under PNRR funds.

of the vessel as a mobile data-collection platform for environmental monitoring helps combat marine pollution and supports water quality control, thereby promoting the protection of coastal ecosystems.
The presence of an internal Research and Development division and collaborations with universities, research centers, and technological partners strengthen the company’s sustainable approach, oriented toward the development of innovative solutions in line with the objectives of the blue economy and the ecological transition.
